About

Viburnum is a hardy flowering perennial shrub that produces white, rounded flowers in late spring. It produces flowers that start as apple green, changing to pure white for an extended period. Bright green foliage turns to shades of red and yellow in the fall.

Highlights

  • Returns and blooms year after year in most hardy zones
  • Lovely in landscapes
  • Excellent for bouquets and cut flower arrangements
  • Showy blooms
  • Easy to grow

Planting Care & Instructions

Soil and site: Select a site with full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Viburnum should be planted in slightly elevated areas to encourage water drainage since they do not perform well with wet feet (roots).

Water infrequently but thoroughly during dry periods or drought. Viburnum are a low maintenance shrub that, with little care, will last a lifetime.

Growing Tips

Prune immediately after flowering, removing dead and broken branches.

Cut back to desired size and shape.
